Our Harlem Renaissance Art Exhibition is insightful, and interesting. We are here to celebrate Harlem Renaissance Visual Art, and the art in all of its forms. Art during the harlem resistance was bold, rule breaking and cutting edge at the time. We have examples of Harlem renaissance art images, and more. There was also a hige music scene. This period is seen as the origin of Jazz.

This art from the 1920-1930’s was highly significant at the time and further solidified the roots that Black culture has in American soliety. This was the end of the First World War and marked a time of great socio and economic change. Despite of this racism was still rife and happening, and therefore African Americans were creating their own feeling of identity, culture and sense of self.
