You can make the text on your screen larger by clicking on "View" or "Page" at the top of your browser window. Then click on "Text Size" and choose "Larger" or "Largest."

Reading PDF Documents

 Documents in PDF format require free software called Adobe Acrobat Reader®.

If you don't have Adobe Reader, or experience problems with PDF documents, please download the latest version of the Reader®.

Setting Up an ArtsWORK Connection

To add or edit your own listings in the ArtsWORK database, or to use the Network! message board, you'll need to click on ArtsWORK Connection on the left side of any page, and create your account.

People New to Computers and the Internet...

The underlined words on your screen are "hyperlinks." They are a quick way to move around the ArtsWORK website, or to other websites. Use your mouse to move the cursor to the underlined words. You'll see a little hand pointing, indicating that you've encountered the link.  Now click with your mouse to go to the new location.

If the link takes you to a new page in the ArtsWORK website, you can return to the page where you were by clicking on the Back arrow in the upper right corner of the browser window. (Your browser is the software you use to access the internet, such as Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox, etc.)

If the link takes you to a different website, it will appear in a new window on your screen. (The ArtsWORK site will still be open on your computer.) Just close the window of the new site when you want to return to the ArtsWORK page. You can close the window by clicking on the X in the upper right corner of the browser window. You'll notice that the hyperlink you used is now a new color, helping you to remember which pages you have already visited.
